Mikaela Brightman
Hi my name is Mikaela Brightman and I am from Bay Shore, New York. I started playing lacrosse in 5th grade and I continued to play throughout middle school, high school, and college. I played summer league for Long Island Top Guns as well as Premier Lacrosse. I committed to LIU Post where I went on to play for two and half years. During my two seasons as a pioneer, we won the ECC Division II Conference Championship in 2015 and 2016.

My name is Marissa Moran and I am from West Babylon. I am currently a sophomore attacker on the Manhattan College Women’s Lacrosse Team and I am a Pre PT Exercise Science Major.
Prior to college, I played for LI Top Guns and I was a five year varsity player at West Babylon High School where I was named captain my senior year. I am looking forward to making practices and tournaments a fun and enjoyable environment for everyone. I can’t wait to share my passion for lacrosse with the future generations of girls on Jesters!

My name is Shannon Donovan and I am a senior captain at NYIT. I am originally from Kings Park NY. I have been playing lacrosse since kindergarten and have always loved it. I am studying psychology and am going to be pursuing my masters in education. I played on the Yellow Jackets for two years and played for All Stars for 3 years. I currently work at a daycare called Kiddie Care and am a nanny for a family that has a 3 year old boy and a 1 year old girl. Every summer I work a lacrosse camp teaching children from first grade all the way to ninth grade on how to play lacrosse and teaching them special tactics so they can be the best! I love working with kids and was an assistant coach for a third grade team and fifth grade team from Kings Park.

ABOUT ME
I am from Port Jeff Station, New York. I started playing lacrosse at a young age (5th grade) where I continued to play throughout middle school, high school and college. I was a 4 year varsity lacrosse player at Comsewogue high school where I was named captain and earned All County. During the summers I played on the Suffolk County Allstars travel team for four years. I continued my lacrosse career at LIU Post where I became a four year starter for the Pioneers, making it the Division II semifinals in 2014 and won the ECC division II conference championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
